Is this one of those 'stages'?

Jazz seems to have gone a few steps back in her sleep lately and we're not really sure why.

She sleeps fine, all night in fact... once she's actually asleep!

About January, she started to fall asleep on her own (well, without being fed to sleep anyway, one of us still needs to be with her until she's asleep). She was doing this probably 3-4 times a week, with the other days she was feeding to sleep.
She sleeps all night unless she's sick or startled.

When I went to full time work she ended up weaning herself of her habit of feeding to sleep, and now she only feeds to sleep maybe one or two nights a week, with the other nights her falling asleep in her bed with one of us in her room with her.

Her bed time USED to be around 7pm, then she'd sleep all night and be up for the day at around 5.30-6ish, and go down for a day nap at 11ish, sleep for 1-2 hours, and be up until her bed time at 7pm. Now she's gone back to 9pm and beyond! What the? We're in QLD so no daylight savings messing us around. She isn't happy either, she is SO tired, she is just fighting sleep so much!

She is getting a lot of activity. Eating normally. No preservatives or trigger foods, which is what usually sets of this kind of thing.



One thing I can really think of is that she wants to be up with me? Last week I was on the 8.45am-5.15pm shift, and this week its 9am-6pm. I leave half an hour before my shift starts and I'm home within 15 minutes.
Another thing I thought of is that maybe she is getting ready to drop a day sleep? Although today Shel let her be, as she was difficult to get to sleep at her normal time (about 11ish) and she fell asleep while playing, at 3.45pm.

Any ideas? I can't really think of anything. Doesn't appear to have any teeth coming through, but she has her necklace on 24/7 (around her ankle at night) and has teethed well since we got it so I'd be surprised if she was really feeling any teeth. She did go to a big girl bed (after being on a floor bed) but that was fine, the transition was smooth and really positive, and now this is happening?
Do they have a 'stage' around this age?

Urgh! It's just really frustrating for us all!

I think DS was about the same age when he started being a PITA to get to sleep. I'd try forcing the boob into him, when he clearly didn't want it & was wide awake. It drove me nuts!
He never went down that early, usually between 8 & 9, but some nights then were as late as 11... even later if I let DH deal with it while I went to bed!
I thought it was just because he realised he was going to sleep & that sleep is boring. He's only just starting to get a bit easier & earlier in the last few weeks, but thats at the price of his day sleep! He did have one today....coz he was up at 5, after crashing at 7 last night!
