Happy 1st Birthday Angus!

My Beautiful boy turns 1 today!!!!

It has been a very emotional week leading up to his birthday and this morning even more so. I just can't seem to put it in the past. Today I am going to try and just do that, put it all in the past and move forward.....

DH has taken the day off today so we can spend this special day together as a family. We will also be heading off the the NICU to have birthday cake with the nurses something that I am very much looking forward to.

It's not one giant step that does it, it's many little steps.

PS. We were hoping he would make it to 8kg by his birthday but as it stands he is 7.71kgs. Still a very good weight.

He is doing fabulously, gosh more than 9 times his birthweight is very impressive :D

We had a wonderful day and for the first time there were no tears when we went to visit the wonderful NICU staff. They were all so happy to see Angus and were thrilled to see how far he has come.
