Please help...***Very descriptive***TMI***

I had a M/C back in 2006 and had to have a D&C on the 04-04-2006 as I only lost an initial clot and had minor spotting with my 12 week baby still very visible and intact on the screen...just without movement...
When I was 4weeks into my second pregnancy I gushed and lost ~500mL blood and 2 tissue clots but that cleared up almost as quickly as it began and I still carried my son to full term (I suspect that he was a multiple but I am happy to have a healthy lil man).
Now I am just over 7weeks and I am almost certain that I am having a M/C but what I don't get is the stuff that I am losing. There is fresh blood but also a clear sticky substance. This is really hard to explain, both of them seem to be kind of merged... like... well it started as the sticky stuff with a lil blood through it but now it seems to be together. I don't really know what to make of it. I thought that it was going to be like a heavy period but with cramping (which I don't normally get). I am cramping, it is bearable, but I don't know what is happening with my body, what that "other" stuff is. Has anyone else had something like this before? Am I losing my baby like I think or could something else be going on? Does anyone have any idea what the clear "gunk" could be? I am so confused...

if you had all that bleeding with your sucessful pg, maybe that is happening again? Why are you so certain you are miscarrying? I would ask for a scan first thing tomorrow, so you know whats going on

I am hoping that everything is ok but with my boy it was only very quick and stopped basically as soon as it started and there was no pain. I have been bleeding all day today with horrible cramps. I have no idea what is happening with my body, I really want this baby to stick and I will be will be rocking up at my gp's as soon as they open tomorrow and see where that gets me.
I have never had this other stuff before and I really want to know what it is and why it is with the blood.

fingers crossed its nothing, I had a lot of bleeding with this baby, and its stuck, so dont give up hope. Hope tomorrow brings good news

I think the gunk could be anything. It could be old or fresh cervical or vaginal secretions. It could be some form of amniotic fluid. I do not think it is either a good or a bad sign. Just one of those weird things that happens when something is going strange.

Let us know what happens. Feeling your pain.

i had a miscarriage 2 months ago ..woke up bleeding ( like MP) but no cramping was my first pregnancy an all i could do was cry..my mistake was i went to the GP straight away an by the time i got to hospital it was to late. I have o neg blood (very rare) an because of that i needed an anti D shot my body thought it was an infection an i lost the bubba..so id suggest to go straight to hospital now dont wait till tomorrow it may be to late. hope all works out for you..two months on an im preg again so best wishes xx
