I'm having a 3rd birthday party and would love some ideas for finger food. Things that are suitable for kids but that adults will love too. What do you usually do? Thanks!

Great - we're having Pip's 3rd b/day this weekend coming, so timely for us :)
I'm planning on:
* homemade cheesymite scrolls
* assorted tiny veggies (cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, carrot sticks) with some dip
* mini quiches (um I mean egg pies ;) )
* cheerios (um ****tail franks? little boys? Short little frankfurt sausages, in the red skins)
And for sweet:
* scones
* cupcakes
* fruit
With:
* Juice boxes
* water
* mocktails for the adults
Subscribing for ideas though!!!
I read somewhere that to make it easy just give each kid a plate already with a selection of food ...
That sounds lovely. I'm thinking of making little sandwiches and mini hotdogs with the ****tail frankfurts. Mini quiches sounds yummy, do you make them yourself? Are they hard?
Naw, not hard at all - either buy the pasty shells already (expensive!) or make them yourself in patty cake pans, blind bake and make up the egg/filling mixture, spoon in, top with cheese and bake .. yum.
They can be served cold ... or warm. With tomato sauce of course!!!
Mum used to do mini quiches in bread cases - just a slice of white bread, crusts off, butter side down. Squash into tin, pour in regular mixture.
