i know NOTHING about foundation, concealer or anything :(
i wear eye make up and thats about it.
My skin gets very red when i get hot and flustered..
Also when i put moisteriser on my face i get a sweaty lip (gross i know :( )
was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction, i want to start feeling more feminine and not so frumpy and gross (all the girls i work with are gorgeous and make me feel like a feral :crying: not on purpose of course LOL)
Honestly hun the less you wear the better for your skin BUT in saying that Im your typical girl and have a MASSIVE amount of make up haha
I would truely use 'bodyshop' you cant go wronge. Light on your skin (not as in colour;))
I use their powder and its beautiful! Just that on and you can walk out the door, with redness covered yet not looking like you have concrete on your face;
You're sooooooooooo pretty you dont want to concrete your face;)

Take yourself off to Sunshine Plaza and visit the Clinique counter at Myer. They have a fabulous range of foundations in different colours and formulations and they will match one to your exact skin tone.
I'm not generally a fan of Clinique skin care but their makeup is great.
My number one makeup brand is MAC but I don't think there is a MAC counter on the Sunshine Coast, so my next choice would be Clinique.
Hi Stevie-Anne, I agree with Curly - MAC makeup is by far the best. Super easy to use and not really that expensive and it lasts for ages and ages. If you do find a MAC store near to you (they have them in Myers and David Jones) then I would recommend a primer which will help with your lip and then studio fix powder. It is lovely.......and goes on really easily and has excellent coverage. I also use studio fix liquid, but if you aren't used to makeup I would stay with a powder because it's less messy and easier to use :)

I'm not a makeup wearer either but have recently bought a mineral foundation from Elusyion. It goes on in 30 seconds and has a nice light coverage. It wasn't cheap at $49 but I use such a tiny amount each time it will last ages. I got mine from my beauty therapist but they have a website to find a stockist. I am a total convert :)
Sometimes I use a Stay Matte foundation from Rimmel. It looks like this and is good because unlike a liquid foundation where you sort of choose your amount and commit to putting it on, you can use a small amount and then you can add more if you like.
Anyway, I like this one because it is matte like a powder, but sort of glides on using a sponge a bit like a liquid would. And if you don't like it, then you haven't outlaid too much money, but if you do like it, then awesome, and if you do but would like something more exy, at least it's given you an idea of colour.
When you're testing foundations, don't test it on the back of your hand, test it somewhere like your jawline, so you get an idea of the colour on your face.
