Welcome Dreaming. I hope this next cycle brings you your longed for baby. I found BB helped me remain sane through all the stress of IVF. I really don't know what I would have done without it.
Sending you lots of sticky vibes and baby vibes.

Hi Dreaming!
Im glad your friend suggested BellyBelly, it has been really nice for me to know others were in the same boat as us with IVF and other things. BB is such a 'life support' for so many ppl!
I hope your TTC journey soon finishes and your much longed for bubba is here soon.
Sending you lots of baby dust x

Hi Dreaming!
Like you Im just jumping on the IVF rollercoaster..couldnt find which forum was best suited to me but I thought Id jump in here and perhaps start a new one if this isnt the right place. Good luck with TTC, Im a nervous reck with all these these tests, scan etc.
Anyhow me so far:
TTC #1
Off OCP 18months but formally TTC since Dec 2009
Irregular cycles since off OCP with main problem being spotting (spot/bleed from 5dpo)
Hubby has had 2 x varicocele ops - found out today has a lowish sperm count 9000 and low motility
Have had 2 US and numerous blood tests.
Saw FS today and had US who said I have 3 follicles at 10mm at cd11, thought I was going to ovulate friday but not the case!! FS thinks I may not be ovulating, hence the spotting. So both male and female infertility factors!
Plan for repeat US Monday cd16 which will hopefully show me about to ovulate, if not will start treatment to cause that. Will also be having some hormonal support post ovulation to hopefully stop spotting.
Trying to decide how long we give this ago as FS has given us options of IUI or IVF.
How long have other people waited before going IUI?
Thanks!

Albi we were not trying but not preventing from May07 until July08. We went on birth control from July 08 til Sep08 as we were getting married and DH didn't want me pregnant as he was concerned I wouldn't enjoy myself ie have some drinks, late night, dancing etc. I was not happy but did go on it.
Sep08 off the pill again and very actively ttc with charting, OPTS, timing intercourse etc. Had a m/c in May09 and June saw a Gyno and pleaded for my tubes to be flushed and a SA which he refused. July 09 I got pregnant again but this was ectopic and I lost my tube and found out I had PID, endo and DH had sperm issues. We had more surgery in Nov09 to try and fix my remaining tube as it was damaged and flush it and have been ttc ever since. We were told in September we would probably need IVF but to try for 6months first which we have with no pregnancy. We are not having IUI as its a tubal problem thats the biggest reason I am not pregnant so no point when we either wouldn't get pregnant anyway or if so might be another ectopic pregnancy (I have had one definate tubal pregnancy and another of unknown location)
We start IVF in September when my health insurance kicks in.
IVF actuall gives me alot of hope as ttc in the bedroom hasn't worked for us for a year and we know we have 7 seperate problems contributing to our infertility so I wish it would hurry up and get here and praying we are in the percent that achieves a successful pregnancy within a few stim cycles. At this stage we are prepared to have 3 although its a bit early to know how we feel ince it all starts. The only part of IVF that scares me is the EPU and multiple failed attempts.

Thanks Teirae and Marcellus - I have joined that thread!!
Mildez - THank you for sharing your story, best of luck with IVF! Its such a lot to get your head around going the IVF choice. Its amazing the amount of people who end up requiring assisted conception! I think I will hopefully give IUI a bit of a chance as Im alittle bit daunted by the thought if IVF. But..I can imagine that in 6 mnths Im still here that where Ill be heading. Keep me posted on how the IVF goes xo
