Doula!: The Ultimate Birth Companion

I just read about this new doco online. It looks really interesting. I am keen to have a doula for my next baby so I will def see this.

From the website "DOULA!: THE ULTIMATE BIRTH COMPANION” is a NEW 65 minute documentary film that follows three BIRTH DOULAS as they support three couples before, during and after their births.

The Doula! DVD features actual footage of doula supported births.

We also see POSTNATAL DOULAS providing practical and emotional support to new mums after their babies are born."

It comes out in June!

Ohh thats unreal!! - info about Doula's and what they do should be standard practice for new mums (and returning mums!)..i really think Doula's are the "missing link" in the pregnancy, labour and birth journeys, as so few women know of them and what they do. - if it wasn't for BB i would've been one of those women!!

Having my Doula was the best decision she was awesome :D

Oh how cool. I should have a look at it for some tips; I have my first birth as a student doula next month and Im so excited!
