Does this much water sound excessive? Plus the need to drink water overnight..
DD is 22 months old, is a big water drinker, I am sure it is normal, but sometimes I do wonder with the amount she will drink in a day and overnight.
With each meal she will drink around 250-300ml of water, will empty a bottle and we usually have to refill it again, plus constantly going back for more drinks inbetween meals.
Before bed she has between 100-250ml of milk, and goes down to sleep about 1/2hr after milk, she will then drink another 100-200ml before sleep, and then wake over night 1-3 times for more water, often draining the drink bottle at least once in those drinks.
So I guess she would easily drink 1.5litres + a day.
She soaks through her nappies over night, huggies, her new Gensea Forge Super Trim Night nappy  (hoping the absorbancy will increase) plus will be getting some longies ;)
She wets 6-7 IB with boosters a day, plus goes on the potty morning and night and had a morning poo on the potty (love not cleaning pooey nappies ) She is dong all the things to be toilet trained but with the amount of wee she does overnight, she won't be dry overnight for a long time, but she is dry after her day sleeps at the moment and we put her on the potty or Daycare puts her on the toilet after she gets up.
I love that she drinks water happily, we don't offer her juice cordial or any other drinks, as we don't want to kerb her love for water ;)
Does anyone else have a bub that drinks so much water?
