DH is trying to get himself a second/day job today & I have no way of printing his resume up at the moment. Our printer died & there's nowhere here we can use one, so I wrote his resume's up.
What do you think? Is that ok? Its a wrecker & an abbitior he's going to, so I don't think it'd be a huge deal, but I'm hoping they won't just look at it & chuck it.... Its on lined paper, coz I don't trust myself on plain.

Are you able to save it to a memory stick or card and go to the local library or primary school to print it up?
I wouldn't either. Try the library or post office, or a friend's computer.
I used to work in recruitment - and I say don't! If you have no other choice then thats the only thing you can do.
The databases of recruitment consultants are very clever these days, and where I worked, when I resume was emailed to the organisation, a process occurred where OCR (optical recognition) would then copy the resume into the database without having to be entered manually. So handwritten ones (I think I only ever saw one) would have to get sent to the IT department, and manually scanned and entered. I don't think potential employers want to see it unless it's typed up. As a consultant, its much better and more likely you will read a short sharp and shiny typed up res.
Go to an internet cafe! Only like $2 an hour and you can print them there.
Your local public library will have computers and printers which you can use for 1 or 2 hours at a time for free, with a charge per page of printing.
I wouldn't do it as others have said go to a library or internet cafe.
Can you email it through to them instead? Your Dh could call ahead and say he would like to forward his resume to them and ask for their email address.
Yeah i agree with the others, i wouldn't do it myself, there is plenty of places u can go to write it up and print like the library ..i know its not a high roller position like u sad but i still think it lacks class and is a bit cheap so to speak.

We have no public library or net cafe here, otherwise I would've done it that way definetely.
Not to worry, they already accepted him at the abbitoir & he starts on Monday!!! So happy I could cry!! :D

Its unreal! Such a relief! I just hope he can keep up with both jobs. Not sure what his hours will be here, but his other job doesn't start til between 7 & 9 at night til 12 - 1am. I guess if this is a 6am - 2pm shift, as I'm guessing it will be, he could catch up on sleep in the arvo's. I hope it works out anyway. We have so much catching up to do!
