Anyone had implantation spotting?

Just wondering what your implantation spotting was like if you had it. I didn't have any with DS so I have no idea. Not trying to get pregnant or anything, I'm on the mini pill and still haven't got AF back after having DS nearly 10 months ago. But a couple of days ago I had some browny/mucosy type spotting and subtle AF like cramping that was there on and off for two days. The spotting was only there when I wiped, so only a tiny bit... (sorry if TMI). I'm still having the odd cramping sensation (no spotting) which reminds me of the early days of my pregnancy...

Yep. I got bit of blood on the day my period was due, then it stopped that arvie ... 3 days later, +ve HPT

I've heard of heaps of people having implantation spotting. What got me this time was that I had ovulation bleeding! I thought it was either af, or implantation bleeding. Trying to work out my dates was fun, lol.

I had spotting. I wiped and thought AF had arrived and went to bed grumpy thinking we were out for the month. The next morning there was no more blood. A few days later I tested and BFP:dance:

I had spotting too.. It was after AF was due (coz I found out 2 days after AF due that I was pg) and I was in tears (and at work too) I messaged my sister and she calmed me down by explaining it was normal.

I didnt have implantation spotting I had a full on bleed both times, heavier than my period but only lasted a day. I didnt get a BFP until 8 days after the bleed HTH.

I had implantation spotting - not that I knew what it was at the time! I thought my AF had come early and was disappointed. It was a few days later that I thought it was strange that my AF hadn't come properly (IYKWIM) so did a test and got my first BFP!

We are TTC #2 now but have only just started. I've only had one AF since my DD was born so have no idea what's going on. My AF is due tomorrow (based on my 28 day cycle pre-pregnancy)and I had some pinkish brown discharge (tmi sorry!) last Friday. I got excited when I thought it might be implantation spotting and even did a HPT I had left in the cupboard on Sunday. No luck though :( .

Sorry (less about me now!) For me the implantation spotting was minor, like what you've described, and I remember thinking when I did the HPT that I'd felt PMS-y that day so shouldn't get my hopes up. So yeah, could be implantation spotting!

Thanks for sharing your experiences ladies. It's so hard to know. I've had spotting on and off (like what I first described) for the last week or so, but did a preg test yesterday and got a negative. I guess it is just my body trying to get back into the swing of things, mind you I would've thought that if AF was coming back that I would have a proper bleed... Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait and see. It's not like we're trying for number 2 or anything, mind you just thinking that I could be pregnant did get me thinking about how lovely another baby will be when the time is right.
