Stupid question on vac's

OK so my dog is due for his annual health check and vaccination boosters

My stupid question is i know he will get the parvo virus booster, but can someone tell me is this a live vaccine and could it cause me harm being pg as i have no immunity to parvo virus (otherwise know as slapcheek in humans) or am i barking up the wrong tree (pardon the pun) and these have no links????

Baahahahah... that would be me ;) The parvo virus vaccination is mainly killed, you can get the live vaccination but it is unusual. You'd have to check with your vet directly (and a phone call should suffice ;)) I have looked it up on the veterinary information and parvovirus is NOT a zoonotic disease, meaning you can NOT catch it from your dog.

I just rang and booked in with the vet and they are all live vac but will not pose a problem to me being pg, DH will be taking him anyway and he cleans up the mess in the yard so i should be right
