a few questions - going back to work
DS is 10mths & still feeds pretty much 2 hourly round the clock. sometimes he goes longer during the day & he wakes every 1-2 hours overnight (sometimes every 30 mins) & he's fed back to sleep. he's fed to sleep at night & also for his 2 naps during the day (well, until now).
i'm currently looking for a part time job (2-3 days a week) & i'm wondering what we should do with regards to the feeds during the day. depending on which days of the week i work he'll either be with DP or in child care. until now, any time i've had to leave DS with someone else for any length of time, he's had a bottle of formula. however, if i'm away from him more regularly, i'm wondering whether i would do bottles or whether i'd just feed him before work & then afterwards & he just ate solids during the day (he's not a huge eater but does seem to enjoy food)? i'm a bit scared of how much more he may want from me if i do that - i've had 10 months of no more than 2 hours sleep at a time & i think i'd struggle if things got worse overnight & i was working.
argh. this is all very longwinded - thank you for reading if you've made it this far. i guess i'm just looking to hear what has worked for other people & trying to get rid of some guilt over having to leave him for financial reasons.
