Just wondering what material would be best to use for making cloth wipes. I am hopefully getting my sewing machine for mothers day  so thought that would be a good first project to try so i can get a bit of practice with my machine.
TIA

I like to use terry on one side & usually use flanno or something on the other side. (Something soft for nappy rash times) Bamboo velour is a very popular wipes fabric. I need to make some velour ones!
There are lots of things you can use :)
I have made my own using
minkee oneside and flanelette on the other
flanelette and microfleece
bamboo velour and flanelette
You can use towelling as well
But don't use microfibre it dries the skin, and I can thank a lovely BB who told me before i made a big mistake!
