Will my boobies leak???

Hi all!

Well tonight is our first official night out since DD's birth. We are off to a 30th birthday and so will be separated for at least -6 hours. I'm so nervous and anxious about this, but thats for another thread!

Anyways, I will be missing 2 feeds during this time, and have left 2 bottles of ebm for mum to feed her. My last feed for the day will be at 3.30pm, and I am planning to express in the car around 5.30 or so. I usually wear Maz's breast pads at all times so I dont know if i am prone to leaking, but I cant with the outfit I want to wear. Next feed is then due at 9pm, so I am wondering if it is likely I will leak b/w 5.30 and when we leave if I dont feed or express???

Any thoughts/ideas would be much appreciated :)

I dunno, but the times I have left DS I have worn maz bp and taken a towel (face washer size but thick) in my handbag JIC I felt full then I could slip off to the bathroom to express a little. And the one time I forgot my bp during the day I did leak, so I ensure I always wear them.

But, with your outfit though... I know they are not nice but do you have any disposable ones? cause they would do for a night out...

Thanks for that Ruf. I do have some Avent disposables, but I still find them a bit thick, especially with my big boobies :redface: Will give them a go though when I am getting ready on the off chance that they'll do the trick :)

I know it is too late for you tonight but did you see maz made some thin bps ... I am weaning ATM but if I wasn't I would get some. Oh and the pigeon ones are what I used before I found maz...

Hey Ruf, well I went commando:) and guess what, no leaks! I took my manual pump, towel and pads in my handbag jic though. And I didnt know Maz made thinner BPs, may just have to invest in some of those.
