Vomiting after coughing

Hi

Not sure if this is the correct place to post or not but may get advice here anyway. Apologies if it is not

My 7.5 month old has a cold with a very chesty cough. The coughing is causing him to vomit after he has fed (both BF and solids). Do I need to be concerned as to the amount of food (including milk) that he is taking in at the moment. This started yesterday morning. I have been to the doctor who has put him on antibiotics as the cough started on Saturday and doesn't appear to be getting any better. He doesn't have a temperature and at the moment his throat and ears are clear.

Any advice/suggestions gratefully received.
