Exhausted and now I feel like a bad mum!
Poor dd2 spent the night screaming from 8pm until 6am when she flaked. She wouldn't eat or drink anything and anytime we tried pain relief she spat it out, no luck with it in milk as we normally do.
We got back from the drs and it's an ear infection. She still wouldn't eat or drink so as a last resort I found a medicine dropper and I had to hold her down to slowly drip her antibiotics and panadol into her mouth. It took an hour but after lots of tears we got there. I felt awful but dd1 has made me feel even worse by telling me I don't like that mum while I was doing it.
Fingers crossed that after her they kick in and a sleep she will feel like drinking for the next dosages.

Thanks everyone! She is doing a bit better today she has realized that their is medicine in her milk or juice she is taste testing before drinking. Dd1 said dd2 was sad then hid the dropper, she got it out when I asked her for it.
It's a bit easier to give her the antibotics today though she lay in my lap and didn't struggle. I got a big cuddle too which she doesn't like too often.

She is still in pain it's taking a long time for her to get over it, but she is happy to take the antibotics without fighting again. Will prob go back to the gp tomorrow.

I feel for you about the brace, dd1 had one on for 8 months and it was heartbreaking when it was first on and then adjusted fortnighly so a big hug for you!
