What happens now?? We put our car on ebay the other week. Auction ended on wednesday afternoon. Buyer phoned very early thursday morning to say he cant buy our car because he doesnt have the money. We have done the second chance offer but they arent interested in it anymore either. Ive never sold on ebay before so have no idea on what step is next. Do we still have to pay the fee's to ebay?? Can i leave negative feedback??
Open a non paying buyer dispute, then close it after 3 days and you will get some of your fee's back, if you relist then you will get your insertion fees back too. :)

Yep open a dispute. If he doesn't have the money he shouldn't have bid on it!
we are really ****ed off that he has done this.
i just got a reply back from the buyer regarding me opening up the non paying buyer dispute. He just said "As per my phone call to you late last week, the sale of my vehicle has fallen through which means I can't proceed with the purchase of your vehicle. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Yes he just has to reply otherwise it takes longer to close the dispute and get your fees back, so it's a good thing.
it came as a reply to the listing not the non paying buyer dispute - does that matter??
There is a minimum amount of time for the dispute to be open and then you can close it saying the buyer no longer wishes to proceed with the transaction, keep the message so you can send it to eBay if you need to.
