We're back to co-sleeping and loving it

After Tank decided for himself that he no longer wanted to sleep with us at 14month I thought our co sleeping/closeness days were over, he's changed his mind and we're loving it :dance:

Since day light savings ended we've had a little person waking up at 5am only to cry because he is upset and scared.

The last week this little man has been crawling into bed with us and snuggling right into me and his old comfort...the BB's. He's not suckling or anything...just cuddling up, resting on them KWIM, and falling back to sleep doing it.

Im absolutely loving it. I dont like the waking up thing and the crying, it really upsets me to think he's scared and thinks he's alone but just having his sweet, sleep breath, his smell and closeness again in the bed with us makes it all worthwhile.

Jed commented that its nice that he's back with us....and that he'll always be our baby. It made me feel really good that Jed loves it to and notices how much Tank and I get out of it.

I just had to share. I thought our co sleeping days were all over...who'd though at almost 2 1/2 that he'd change his mind

I slept with Bella last night too as she was unwell and DH snores so we slept in the spare bed and it was a peacfull and beautiful sleep!
Nothing like being woken up by a little hand on your cheek and a sweet little voice saying "helooowwww mummy" ...

So excited for you Maz. I never thought I would go for co-sleeping but I am loving it when DD hops in with us and snuggles in. Even better when DS wakes up early and I bring him into our bed for a b/f and then a snuggle. Gee the bed it crowded with the four of us but it is amazing!!

Naw! So cute! Now that we have a queen size I think DS will be in our bed again alot more. Especially since DH isn't home much at nights coz of work. I love having him in my bed. It feels so right :)

... aww too sweet Maz, ... our DD co-slept with us past 2 1/2 years of age and DP & i both loved every minute of it, sometimes i would go to bed early just to snuggle up near her to feel her warm toasty little body, and smell her hair and feel her breath on me ... and i would wake up to her lovely smiley face every single morning, never knew anyone to be so happy to see me in the morn, LOL ... just felt like nothing else on earth :cosleep1:

so on that note Maz i absolutely totally know where your coming from, it's just wonderful !!

... and i hope my DD can still crawl into bed with for a cuddle with me even when she is all grown up :hug:

Maz they will always be our babies in our heart no matter how older they get :heartbeat:

Aww how cute... i love when Ava comes in for snuggles UNTIL she flops around like a fish and kicks me in the face or the (.)(.) or the back.. she's a mover that kid... i NEVER knew the joys of co-sleeping when she was a bub but am really enjoying falling asleep with Z feeding and waking up to her trying to attach herself again.. it's just gorgeous.. and BB gave me the confidence to do it... :clap:

DS2 sometimes co sleeps with me after DH has gone to work in the early morning. A few months ago i woke up with him asleep laying across my tummy. It looked as though he was trying to snuggle in with his little brother.
