need help with pin pointing exact ovulation

Hi, I was wondering if I have really stretchy CM that it means you are ovulating or should you go off your lh levels through a pee stick??

both. just dtd as much as possible. stretchy cm is a good start. when you get that test on an ov pee stick.

I did both but was fantastic at getting it through DTD as much as possible.. well everyday, but i remember having VERY VERY VERY stretchy CM and knew it was then.

Stretchy CM or eggwhite CM (EWCM) is a good indication of ovulation being either very close or happening. You may have it for a few days leading up to ovulation or only on the day of ovulation, depending on the person, after tracking it for a few cycles you'll notice your particular pattern.

Ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) can be hard to read, so I personally wouldn't go on them alone. If you don't catch the right moment you can easily miss ovulation. In combination with tracking CM, temps & cervical changes they are great but on their own not so good IMO.
