Prem cloth nappies, from say 2kg-3.5kg, prefer an AIO, but open to suggestions :D

Need to do a bit of reasearch, and look into my options for little nappies, as with DD the real nappy system (prefold and cover) failed dismally, and everything else was too big, We have a couple of WAHM tiny cloth nappies from DD, which worked ok, I think I will just change the boosters to bamboo for absorbancy, as she seemed to leak in them around the leg, but fitted firmly.

The problem with prems as there legs are ususally very skinny, DD didn't get any rolls until she was 6-7 months old :lol:

We have a stack of IB's which will hopefully do us from 3.5kg, but it is waiting for bub to get that big may take some time. I do prefer an AIO, mostly because I find them so quick and easy, but I don't know of anyone that does them so small :D I am sure they are out there though!

They would also be best if they are something we can get on shortish notice as I don't want to buy a heap and then have no use for them, really depends on so many things, but if I get the research part out of the way, once we know where we are going and how Flicker is going we will have an idea when to go shopping :D

get your hands on some of the BBH petities hon. i was a small on the weekend and was blown away with how SMALL it actually was.
You could always get into contact with a wahm and see if she'll do custom's for you

You can get XS Bumgenius AIOs that fit from 2.7-5.5kgs..they are nice and small!

bubblebubs NB are made to fit from 2.5-5.5 kg, best of all they are a velour inner (natural fibre inners are a must for me and the nb stage!)

they are true aio's and are cute!

I had a 10lber this time and can't use the small BBH petite I bought to try. Like Maz said, they are extremely small. It's got a very absorbent snap-in part though - too much for a newborn pooing all the time IMO. I did use it once on day 2 or something with just an IB mini booster laid in instead, but it was still a tight fit.
What am I trying to say?? lol Size wise it's probably just right for what you want but if you don't use the parts it comes with, I guess you might not find it worth it because you'd use it more like a cover...ramble, ramble...

So theya re smaller then the IB's which also go from 3.5kg, I will have to try and get one to see if I can have a squiz, I do like the look of the side snappers, as i think theya re better around skinny legs :)

I had a 2kg baby who started wearing cloth at 3 weeks (after getting home from SCN). Monkey Doodlez Micro Newborn size fitted her well (just don't use their booster). The Happy Heiney Pocket in X-Small was also a great fit. The Happy Heiney pocket became a favourite nappy.

I too had a premmie baby who I had in cloth from 2kg, I managed to get some (now not makng) bbh magic all newborns which work, monkey doodle newborns are smaller enough and the swaddlebees mininap works but I must admitt the best thing I have found are prefolds. They are easy to use and fit the best. I bought some ittibitti smalls but at 10 weeks and 8lbs they are still too big in the leg for her. I have managed to get more bbh newborn magicalls than I need if you would like a buy a few to try. I hope this helps as I had the same problem as you - I would love to have my wee girl in some pretty AIOs but really the prefolds may not be as pretty but are the best when tiny.
