Baby Jogger rain canopy

I have accidentally been sent a rain canopy instead of the bug canopy with my new BJ City Elite, but am wondering whether to bother sending it back for right product. Or just keep it & buy the bug canopy separately. I'm not really looking forward to paying postage to send it back...

I'm curious to know if anyone has a rain canopy for their BJ, and what they think of it. They looked kind of stuffy to me, and I'm not sure I would get a lot of use out of it, although the plastic is a lot lighted & softer than I thought it would be.

I don't have that brand of jogger, but we do have a rain cover for ours and I've used it maybe 3 times. It's one of those things though, where, when you do need it, it's really handy to have.

I'm sure it's also one of those things that when I need it, it would be at home & not anywhere on the pram.

I think I'll just keep it anyway - and check the weather before I go wandering!

Entreat - did you order from the US (country moose) by any chance? I put in an order last weekend and haven't heard from them since then regarding estimated delivery etc.

I got one sent up to Singapore for my BJ City Elite coz they didn't sell them there (go figure...it rains almost every bl00dy afternoon!) and I'm glad I got it.

If it were me I'd call and tell them about the mixup and then get the bug thingo sent instead if you want it :)

I ordered from Bubs online?? It's in queensland.

I can't be bothered posting it back to them - it would actually cost me more to post it back & get the bug cover than if I just kept it & got a bug cover separately.
