Naturopathic Liquids
Hi ladies,
I would like to know if anyone has been given a liquid from a naturopath that made them bleed mid cycle and or bring on your period early? In order to correct a hormone imbalance?
I am wondering if the naturopath I am seeing is taking me for a ride or if what he says is true?
Thanks So much in advance!

Hi there,
I am on a liquid herb formula at the moment (see My Success with natural therapies post) and have found that it reduces my cycle from around 31-32 days to 28-29 days. Haven't ever heard of the bleeding mid cycle though so unsure about that???? I think the closer your cycle is to 29 days the better for conception (think I have read that somewhere??). And this is totally just observation but I seem to have more EWCM when I take the herbs too....
Good luck with it! Let us know what formula you are on and how it goes...

Thanks maggie. My cycle is a 28 day cyce and always ovulate day 12 . My naturopath thinks i should ovulate day 14 and have a 29 day cycle. This month because of the liquid it was a 21 day cycle. Im so confused as to why. My naturopath seems to think its a good thing cos it is cleaning me out but im not sure and im not convinced tbh. This month i have had alot of small clots? Maybe its breaking up old rubbish that hasnt been able to flush its sef out ? Im just not sure if the liquids are doing what theyre supposed to do?

naenae83 - I think the mid-cycle bleeding/spotting could be a good thing! When I started on liquid herbs (prescribed by my naturopath) I had a month of strange symptoms while my body sorted itself out, then the next cycle fell into a much more 'normal' rythym (I had short cycles; ~24 days).

Thanks Aurian. Its just strange for me, thats all (think ive said that a million times now LOL)
Im a typical 28 day cycle O'ing on day 12 regularly.
I think the liquids were to cleanse me? LOL, got an appointment this thurs too.
It would just be nice to know what is goin on - put my mind at ease again ;)
