Ok I have been using the Earth washing detergent and Im getting a little of sick of stains not being washed out..
DD is a normal 3 year old into everything and it normally ends up on her clothes.
I use to use OMO but thought it would be nice to use a different brand that was better for the environment.. I dont have to time to mix and make, Im sure you know how that story goes.
Oh and I did try a stain remover but for some reason that doesnt work either...
Any tips or suggestions??

I tried all kinds of stain remover too but Sard is the best, either the spray or the powder. I have a 16.5 mth old so her clothes are forever covered in who knows what. I either soak in sard for a day then chuck it all straight into the wash or if its a real stubborn one I use the powder and rub it into the stain leave it for a bit then chuck into the wash. I have never had a stain stick around doing it this way, and I have even gotten stains out of hand me down clothes using this method and who knows how long those stains were there for.
Someone else might come in with a more enviro friendly option - I think you can use bicarb - but this works for me so I thought I would share.

Sard wonder soap (the bar) I use that on all stains & use Earth most of the time & it seems to work well
I honestly think stain removal is less about what product you use and more about how you treat it...I often spray with a pre-wash remover (enzyme based) but I think the ultimate secret weapon is applying your detergent/soap/spray/paste then soaking for an hour or two/overnight. Hot water is good for grease, oil, dirt, etc, but make sure if there's blood or other proteins involved you want to use cold/lukewarm water.
I keep a "soaky bucket" in the laundry sink at all times so whenever I come across a stain it just goes straight in, part of the routine. Gets it out every time.
