Gabriel Ray Child?

When I was pregnant (around the 8 mths) with DD a strange thing happened.

I was asleep and I felt someone sitting on my bed. I was calm and peacefully talking to this being. I felt their hand on my belly, which did not alarm me at all and I remember the person asking me if I was ready. Naturally I said 'Yes' (after waking I thought it was just a dream, cos I did not know what i was being 'ready' for LOL)

Anyway - fast forward approx 8 months after DD was born I met a lady at a local market that done tarot readings. I met with her on a regular basis for coffee and a chat. She was just so wonderful! We got talking about dreams and this one particular 'dream' popped into my mind. After explaining it to her she said it was not a dream - but infact DD was a 'Gabriel Ray Child' which are born to serve humankind/humanitarian.

I didn't think to ask more details but wodnering if anyone could give me more info today? It fascinates me to know what this woman told me and how DD's personality fits it.

I have tried googling a gabriel ray child but nothing comes up.

Does anyone know of a good site that can help me out?

I honestly dont Know of course, but when you say Gabriel, I immediately think of the arch angel Gabriel who visited Mary to tell her she was going to be pregnant and have the son of God, tms? sort of makes sense in the way the tarot reader also said "humanitarian/to help humankind.." just my thoughts though... :)

Maybe she meant a "Blue Ray child" google that and see if it fits? I've also sent you a link :)

In Buddhism we have our own name for it, they are 'Bodhisattva'. They are spirits who have achieved enlightenment, or wish to achieve enlightenment, to help all Earthly beings, rather than transcending from cyclic existence and into Nibbana (Nirvana). They continue in the cycle on Earth to help others attain enlightenment.
This came to mind when I read 'serving mankind'. I'm mentioning Buddhism as you asked about Quan Yin yesterday, so I thought you might be interested. Quan Yin is a Bodhisattva.

YAY so glad that link helped and you have some insight. Try not to worry about some of the challenges that she may face, everyone has them. At least if you know what they are you can teach her to 'not' stay in a dysfunctional relationship etc. I find it very empowering to know and recognise what my challenges are and every time I over come them or display resources to deal with them better it's a wonderful check point at how much I've grown kwim. So happy for you, and yes you are special too, we all are ;)

I missed this thread the first time, but I wondered if the lady you've been talking with follows ascension theory. I don't subscribe to these teachings at all, but I've spent time with people who are very into it, so I've got a basic understanding. The Archangel Gabriel features as one of the Ascended Masters and (my memory is a bit foggy) but each of the masters is supposed to transmit a particular vibrational frequency, hence the "ray" part...as we near 2012 (well actually it used to be 2010...the date has shifted a bit :lol:) the theory goes more and more of this energy is being transmitted into the earth plane, hence souls being born at a higher vibrational frequency (which sort of ties in with the indigo and blue children ideas too). So maybe she was saying she thinks your DD was born on the same vibrational frequency that Gabriel transmits at. There's actually a chakra map relating to Ascension, the masters govern the transpersonal chakras (the ones that sit outside your body, above the crown chakra) and I think one of those are portrayed as blue, so maybe there's a correspondence there too.
