So I know how it is most common for first time mums to go into labour over night as that is when the labour-inducing hormones are strongest (or whatever it is!). But what about when it is your second, third, fourth labour? Etc etc?
When did yours start? What time of the day was it?
both mine started in the early morning with waters leaking!
DS-2am
DD1-4.30pm
DD2-2am
3am :)
DD 4am but they didn't count it as proper labour until 8am.
the previous 2 nights I had contractions that started around 10-11pm and lasted most of the night.
DD2 - 11pm
It's also because your body is resting, I have no idea with dd1 as I didn't know I was in labour, with dd2 it was about 4am it started with pre labour and things got moving about 9pm
My first two labours started at 4am, weird! My first contraction with DD (my third labour) was at 8pm, but didn't really start until 9:30pm.
Labour started around 11.30pm and bub was born at 2.50am
Based on this thread, I think I need to keep my nights free during the next month :)
DD1 - was induced
DD2 - started very minor contractions about 6pm.. .nothing too bad until about 7am.
DS1 - 7pm, waters broke. "Real labour" (ie/ it got ouchy) began 1am. Born 4.30am.
DS2 - 7am, contractions started (... after a solid night's sleep!). Real labour began 11am. Born 2.15pm.
