Possible AF returning whilst bfing...Symptoms

Hi All,

DD is nearly 11 months and has recently decreased her daily breast feeds dramatically over the last month. She is probably having 3 to 4 during the day and 1 to 2 over night.

For the last couple of weeks I've noticed a lot of ovary pain, mild cramping, mild dull backache, tiredness, and I've been feeling off (on and off). I did a preg test last Thursday and although I could see a white line on the test it was not coloured at all (should be blue), so I've taken this as negative.

Now I am thinking that AF might be trying to come back. Did anyone else experience these kind of symptoms before AF came back?

DH and last dtd without a condom but using withdrawal about 3 weeks ago. I really don't think I would be pregnant

AF kindly returned for me when DD was six weeks old and I was exclusively b/f. It has been as regular as always right through the last 14 months of b/f, aren't I lucky?!!!!! But the pains you're describing are just the same as I had when it first arrived back.

My DS is a similar age and I just got my AF back a few weeks ago. I had the sort of symptoms you're describing on and off for weeks in the lead up to it along with occassional light spotting, so I think it probably your bod just starting to get back into the swing of things. Like you I also wondered if I could be pregnant, I even started a thread asking about implantation spotting LOL before I eventually did a HPT, got AF back four or five days later.
