I know this thread has been done to death, but a little sleep advice?`
I suppose every situation is different, so instead of trawling through all the old threads,I thought I would start a new one.
DD is 15 months, and started sleeping through at 6 months. For the last month she has been waking every night, sometimes for uo to 2.5 hours, The only time she will sleep through is if I give her nurophen before bed, and I don't like doing this, as I don't want her to have meds every night.
Her gums do seem very lumpy and I can see a bottom tooth under the gums, but it has been that way for about a month now with still no tooth through.
When she wakes I go in and tell her to go back to sleep and give her a pat. She settles for about 20 mins, when I am in light sleep, she wakes again.
I cannot cosleep with her, as she wants to sleep across my body, normally on my neck, and if I dare move she wakes.
I have got to the point that I just have to leave her cry. She is not hysterical, more grizzling, but there is nothing else I can do to comfort her.
What do you think? Is it teething? If so, does teething go on like this has for so long? She is not hungry.
Ok - In reading back, I am not sure that there is much advice that can be offered.
