help...lots of questions...first would you buy AIO's on ebay?

I'm about to start using cloth on DS2, i've decided after looking on many websited for more friendly cleaning products, bottom creams etc & so on that cloth is the way to go. However money is tight atm, so I had a look on ebay. I found a pack of 7 AIO's for $50!!! has anyone gotten something similar from ebay and had success....or will I be dissapointed? They look alright, they do ship from china???

Also is a one size AIO that can be adjusted as good as having the different sizes? I don't want to have to keep on buying more and more as they don't fit....am I asking too much?

Also do you need inserts and what are good? and lastly do the flushable liners work, I've heard they don't actually flush that well?

Recently I've had to build an emergency stash and I got 3 of the nappies from china off ebay. I figured they only had to last a few weeks, but i have to say they're pretty good. They only come with one insert that's microfibre, so you'd do well to get some bamboo inserts (read the inserts they come with are great as a second insert but don't hold a whole lot on their own - actually they'd probably be fine on little people you change every 1-1.5hrs). If you sew they're really easy to make and work out quite cheap compared to buying the same things.
The nappies aren't a true AIO they're pocket nappies.
They do go quite small, but to give you an idea of size, my DS is 15months, and while he's quite little (only a bit over 10kgs) the nappies are still on the second setting, so I can't imagine the third setting fitting a newborn IYKWIM? Just reread your post and I reckon the third setting would fit a six monther.
I actually only paid 99c for each of 2 of mine and the other a little more so if you want to try them it's worth watching the auctions too. I would never have dreamed of buying them before, but i have to say I would get them again. They certainly aren't luxurious but they're cute and they work fine.

Nope generally OFSM does go right up to TT, but again with my tiny kiddo it was a while before he was big enough to fit them.

I've only ever used liners if there is a need for bum cream and then I use fleece liners. Can't see the point of flushing extra stuff if I am making all the other effort IYKWIM?

I'm about to try to sell some nappies on Ebay! I went a bit crazy buying everything when I discovered MCNs and am now trying to ease my guilt to selling some. The ones I want to sell are Bumgenius AOI Organics. I have six that I want to sell. The RRP is about $45 but I have used them on my baby a few times so I'm not looking to charge that much. Hammi - how much are you selling the BumGenius for? A friend highly recommends these and I'm very interested in buying a couple!

I'd have no problems buying off ebay, but you need to check what the nappies are made of.
PUL, fleece, bamboo, microfibre, hemp, terry, minky, cotton & velour are the ones to look at.
Stay away from PVC lined & pilchers. You can get some great brand names on ebay & you aren't allowed to sell used nappies on there, so you know you are getting clean nappies.

I also bought some of the OSFM ones from china. I actually bought mine over a year ago & they've been getting regular use on both my 2 year old & I also used them on my 5 year old before night TT.
Because they've lasted this well for this long I plan to get a few more & use them from just after NB as well. They are pockets, not AIO's.

I use fleece liners. Haven't tried flushable.

Keep your eye out for the good quality (a few cheap duds & you'll know the difference, lol) & compare prices. Get in quick, coz the good brands don't last long!

if it helps, baby beehinds offer a layby system so if you wanted to buy some from there, that is an option. they have many different types and are reasonably priced :D
