Brown spotting

Hi ladies,

I was hoping you could provide some advice to a newbie. My period was due last Thursday, and first thing in the morning I woke up, wiped myself and there was blood. I was gutted. At lunch time I changed my tampon and there was no blood, just brown type discharge. I haven't worn a tampon since but the brown spotting has continue in small amounts.

I've done a couple of pregancy tests but they are all negative.

Has anyone experienced this when TTC? Over the past year my period has dwindled down to 3 days and my period is very light. A little worried that my period has stopped completley.

Maybe go to your dr and ask for a blood test....when i fell pregnant in january I had brown discharge when AF was due and then nothing I did a HPT on CD30 and it came back positive where I think I did one earlier and it was negative

you could quite possibly be pregnant and this is just implantation bleeding and your hormone levels just arent strong enough yet to record a BFP. wait a couple of days and try again.

I'm afraid I ended up getting my period on day 32. I went to the doctors and she thinks I had a chemical miscarriage / failed pregnancy.

We'll just keep trying!
