Strider Plus 3
Hey
Does anyone have a Strider Plus 3 or seen one? They are only fairly new out & I'm finding it very difficult to find a store which has one in stock for us to look at. We love the Strider Plus 4 but would like to hear of opinions & possibly see the 3 before we make a purchase.
Thanks

Re: Strider Plus 3
I've seen the new strider in stores, it's really wide, has great features, but weighs 18 kgs. I really love the features but it's way too heavy and wide, doubt it would fit down standard shopping aisles.

I saw it in a store and ive laybyed one.
It does fit through a standard aisle.
I love the look of it, its the perfect pram for us :)

We have one and they gave us the special online price! The 3 wheelers have only just arrived on the Gold Coast apparently there was an error in the colours and then they got lost in transit.. We got ours from Pram warehouse (Robina) but Baby Biz (Burleigh) have ordered them in as well.
There is a pram warehouse in Loganholme, Capalaba, Sumner Park & Ipswich (Brisbane)
We got the brown which is really nice caramel colour and we are going to get the car carrier that clips on.. We haven't actually used ours yet but I am guessing that you will need to use the wide checkout at the supermarket as I can't see it going through the normal ones.
Hope this helps!

Went back into baby bunting to look at the strider again, love the features and the price. Hubby measured the wheel width against the mountain buggy and there is only about an inch difference in the width of the wheels. Turns out it weighs that much when you have the two toddler seats on it, which you can remove before folding anyway and with the capsule or one seat I think it's around 12kgs.
We are once again considering the strider plus, it's got better features than all the other prams we have seen and comes with all of the accessories, foot muff, extended hood, rain and sun covers etc at no extra cost and all for the price of $529. Extra toddler seat was about $130 and the capsule was $269, unsure still whether we would buy the capsule or not, would you buy it?

we have the strider plus 4, so can't help with the questions about the 3-wheel version...however, I love the strider plus. It is a bit wide but at our local supermarket, there is only 2 checkouts that it doesn't fit through. Yep, it probably wouldn't fit in the smaller gift shops, but then I had trouble with the maclaren in one the other day! It is heavy with 13kg DD and 7kg DS, but then any double would be. The advantage of this over a side by side for us, was that it fitted in the car, and on the days when I don't have DD, I'm not left without a pram.
Babyluv - we didn't bother with the capsule, partly because we were offered a diff capsule by a friend, and also, DD only lasted till about 7wks in a capsule when we traded it in for a reversible, so didn't want to pay for a capsule that we might not have used. As it turned out, DS didn't like the pram for the 1st 12 weeks, so was always in a sling anyway.

We have the Strider Plus 4 which is fantastic. Just wanted to say that if the Plus 3 is the same wheel base as the 4, then yes it will fit through doorways and supermarket checkouts. I fit through Woolies and Coles and KMart, Target checkouts and most Big W checkouts.
