New to all this

So, i'm new to everything... My husband & i have only been trying a couple of months & i have read so many different things, i don't know if i'm coming or going. But on Saturday i started spotting... very very lightly, but it's there. Normally i wouldn't think to much of it, but i had what i thought was my period on the 10th. I've had some mild cramping & i've noticed today that my boobs are massive! To the point that I think i need ot go & buy a new bra at lunch!

These are all the usual symptoms of PMS, but the spotting just concerns me when i'm in the middle of my cycle.

My cycle is only about 26 days & i never spot in the middle of it normally!

Am I being paranoid or is there something i should be worried about? please help :redface:

Hi, yes it can be all very confusing! Are you due to ovulate? Sometimes some women experience spotting during ovulation. Usually implantation spotting takes place a few days or up a week or so after ovulation so depending on when you ovulated last that 'could' be the cause of your spotting. If the spotting continues then i would suggest that you see your Doctor. I know for me personally i get quite sore/tingley boobs and pains in my lower abdomen/pelvis whilst ovulating. Hope you get to the bottom of this mysterious spotting. Good luck! xx

i started spotting exacly 14 DPO (days past ovulation) my cycle is exacly 28days but since u have a short cycle im guessing it would be less that 14 DPO for urself you should get a couple home tests an see what they say :)if u get a positive head to the GP he will send u for a blood test to check ur HCG levels an guess around how far you are i think congrats is in order wishing u the best of luck..keep us posted :)

I've been to the doctor & he is doing comparison HCG levels of which we get the results on Thursday (another blood test tomorrow). He did send me for an ultrasound but it didn't show anything, but that could mean it was too early. I spent the weekend on strict 48 hour bed rest to try to get the bleeding to stop but it has only eased. There is still a chance that i may have miscarried, but we are praying that I haven't. It's been less than a week since i did the test & we have barely got to enjoy it!

Hopefully Thursday will bring us some much needed good news!
