Getting blood out of a shirt?

DS had a bit of an accident last night, which resulted in my white blouse I was wearing getting a fair bit of blood on it (btw he's fine now :) )

Can anyone tell me the best way to get it out? I haven't done anything with it yet.

DD got some on her cardigan the other day, striped one and she got it on the white stripe :rolleyes: not the pink or red, she grabbed dadd'ys razor and the razor won and her finger didn't, all better now though!

I used cold water and a block of Sard Wonder Soap then washed normally on a a cold cycle. I think it is really important that you don't use any heat on it HTH's :)

Whatever you do, don't apply any heat until you've got the main part of the stain out. Cold water for blood, I would try an enzyme based soaker.
