Incredibly sharp, low pains

I'm just over 37wks and am having really sharp pains really low in my tummy (feels like my cervix, but kind of not...)
The baby's head is down but I don't think engaged yet.
The pain is that bad that I couldn't roll over in bed last night and when I walk, every step that hits the pavement sends the pain shooting through me, it's pretty painful.
I'm walking like i've got a pole up my backside coz I just can't put all my weight on my feet :lol:
Has anyone else had this? I've had sciatica for nearly my whole pregnancy and it's far more painful than that!!

I have too, although i thought it was more the position of bubs, aswell as sciatica. I hope it gets better for you soon.
A heat pack helps me :) and a nice warm relaxing bath.

I've been getting really bad low pains too - my thought was it was bubs headbutting my cervix. Could be that for you too?

I had that on and off too. Sounds like bubs head butting against your cervix. If it gets too bad or there is blood or anything else unusual get it checked out by MW :)
