What MCN should I get for daycare?

cause Fred is getting nappy rash from the sposies they use :( but DH has given me the all clear to buy a heap of nappies to send to daycare with her :dance: Daycare is more than happy to use them and will rince them all at the end of the day before sending them home. How good is that?

So what do you recommend? What do you send to daycare? Should it be AIO's or Pockets? Snaps or velcro? Bamboo or Microfibre? What is the easiest things to send? Can you tell I'm kind of like a kid in a candy store with so many options but not knowing what to get :lol:

If I had any time I would make them all myself but the reason she is in care is cause I am working and have no time :doh: I would prefer WAHMs and narrow crotch/SS cause she has mega chunky thighs. So hit me with your recomendations :D

I send Green Kids (anytimes with bamboo inserts) and Bumgenius to family day care for my son. I send these because they the nappies that work best for him. Also because I find snaps annoying and I think velcro nappies are more like disposables so they are "disposable user" friendly. I don't send his Green Kids funtimes because they wick if left on too long so I send the ones that I know will last a while and save leaks and hassles with them "not working". I also don't send the hemp inserts as these get smelly with my son's wee and I don't want that while he's at care either. At home I accept it and just change him more. Green Kids have a fairly narrow crotch... but my son has always had chicken legs so I can't help with your daughter's body shape.

The nappies I send are pockets which means they dry faster than AIOs but it makes no difference to his carer because I have them all ready to go with liners inside when they are in his bag. I wouldn't expect her to stuff pocket nappies.

I found the BumG pockets and any AIOs best for day care - they can't screw them up! lol

I used Happy Babes pockets for daycare. They're fairly cheap (so it didn't matter so much if one went missing), I could stuff them however I wanted with other inserts and they were velcro, so super easy for any cloth virgin. They were fine on DD and she has chunky thighs too.

AIO's are best because we can only use a cover once (well thats the policy here, because the covers are 'contaminated' as they have 'touched' the urine). I like Itti
Bitti's, but then we use cloth at home so I'm ok with anything hahaha
Velcro/hook and loop would definitely be easier for non-cloth users.

I took her swaddlebee pockets today (they were the only ones clean) and they seemed to do ok. Of course it was the day that fred did 3 :o poops so I felt so sorry for the girls. They washed them out for me which I told them they didn't need to do. Evidently it was the first time they have used cloth at that day care so I am so impressed with them doing so well :D

I've been thinking ittis or BBH pettites... but pockets would be easier cause I can make extra inserts for them at anytime. Ok, need to get them this weekend, I'll let you know how I go

I've always sent Green Kids pockets with bamboo inserts for my kids. :D

I always preferred fitteds and covers when I worked in a cloth friendly place (which I don't currently. Sigh) But anything with velcro was really very easy and fast, so a winner with everyone. Actually I used to fight to be the one to change the cloth bums, even when it wasn't my turn :D

Pockets, as someone suggested are a great idea - anything with boosters that fold out and up and in and what not have the potential to be quite confusing to some staff. With pockets they need not even know there is an insert. Maybe the Bonnibuns pockets? Or even AIOs? They're gorgeous, and I think she might do velcro on request.
