Red Nose Day memorials/services - are you going to any?
Hi all :hello: I'm off to the Red Nose Day Remembering Service in Melbourne today, and wondered if anyone else is going, or would like to go at late notice? It's at St Michaels in the city at 10:30 (told you it was late notice!) and it looks like it'll be really nice. I think the lady who told me about it said there's a balloon release, a book to write our angels' names in, morning tea... Uuuummm... Can't remember anything else :p
This is big for me, I'd usually rather eat the dirt off my feet than step foot in a church  but it's aimed at people of all backgrounds and beliefs - it just happens to be at a church ;)
For those who aren't in Melbourne - are you doing anything wherever you are? Do you know of any remembrance services?

Okay, so no-one went? Did anyone do anything where they are?
I ended up reading one of my poems st the service, and wearing my Red nose around the city :)

That's alright PZ, I knew about it and I still had trouble finding information online... They really hid it deep in their site!
The most heartbreaking bit for me was the boy who spoke before me, he was maybe 18-20. His twin brother died when they were babies and he just spoke straight from the heart. He didn't read anything, just talked about his brother, hoping he was proud :crying:
Next year then? It's on red nose day every year :)
