period like pain lil worried

hi guys.. so im 5 weeks an 1 day today :) but ive got some pains in my lower belly an back like period pain :( i had a MC 2 months ago but didnt have any pain just bleeding this time ive got a lil pain not bad in my lower belly an back but not bleeding which ive read is a good sign but im worried everytime i got to the toilet im checking trying not to stress :wall:

sometimes the stretching of the uterus can really mimick period style cramping (basically cause it's all gotta do with jiggling the uterus). i would hazard that this is what is going on. of course, if you feel that the pain is getting too intense it is worth checking with your care-provider. but if it is the period cramping that i think you are experiencing it can (and usually is) totally normal as the uterus is doing some MEGA growing in those first weeks and it likes to complain a bit lol.

ok thanks for your reply hopefully its just my utuers stretching then :) ive been having the same back pain the whole time so maybe just put together its worrying me a lil just going to lay down an watch a movie relax maybe have a sleep i have a doc appointment this afternoon for some BT results so if it gets worse i can always ask my doc :)

I always get period pain in early pregnancy - even in my third where you'd think my uterus might be used to the stretching. Hope the doc was able to settle your nerves about it

I had awful awful stretching pains up until about 10 weeks. As long as you have no bleeding id say its completely normal. Just try and relax and rest as much as you can. I had horrible morning sickness and fatigue so i was in bed for most of the first trimester.

thanks guys GP made me feel alot better basically said the same thing my first bubba so its doing alot of stretching everything is normal got my BT results my HCG levels are great at 8025!! wahooo!! first ultrasound next tuesday sooo excited :)

And its quite normal to get worried i actually went to the emergency when i experienced bad pains LOL i felt like such a dork when they said its just the uterus stretching!
