Tax?
Ok so over the years we havee been able to claim our medical expences on our yearly tax return and plan on doing so again this year.
Can someone please tell me if it is bettter to cliam on my DH tax return as he earned more than i (this is what his tax man is saying?)
However i have always added it to my yearly claims?
Thanks

His tax man is correct. You include it in whoevers income is higher. This is because it is an offset, and only reduces the amount of tax you pay. So you are better off utilising it in the return which pays more tax which will be the higher income earner. Hope that makes sense.
