We are starting IVF next month with IVF Australia. Our first meeting with them will be at EPU as we are from a remote area and seeing a Gyno who does all the paperwork, gives out the drugs etc we just have to travel there for EPU and any future transfers. Just wondering other peoples experience at either Westmead or Castlehill IVF Australia? Having never walked into a clinic I don't really now what to expect.
I've moved this to the Fertility Centre/Specialist recommendation forum - Pls be mindful of guidelines for posting in this area when replying.

I went to IVF Australia in 2007 & now have a beautiful daughter. The doctors and nurses are lovely & they take the time to explain things & answer any questions. I had appointments at both their Castle Hill & Westmead rooms & could not fault either. A few months ago we finished our 3rd FET (trying for #2) which was unsuccessful & are currently changing clinics due only to the cost involved. We would have loved to continue with them if we could.

I was just wondering if you had any feed back on IVFA. My husband and I have to decide if that is the clinic we would like to be referred to and I was hoping you had some feedback on them.
Mrs Mac I am sorry I didn't reply sooner. I only just found this old thread I started. Have you made a decision about clinics now? I'll keep my fingers crossed your miracle bub is just around the corner.
We were extremely blessed to conceive naturally the very cycle before we commenced stimulating through IVF Australia and now I have a lovely DD who is almost 9months old. We did do all the preliminary stuff and learned about what we would be doing, got our drugs etc so I do have experience with that just not actually starting and EPU, etc. I must say I was extremely happy with the service they gave to me during that time and also when I had to phone them and tell them I was pregnant naturally. They provided me with BT's and early scans and follow up until I reached 7weeks at absolutely no cost to me which was way more then I expected.
Alicat turns out our little miracle was just around the corner. I found out on the 31st July 2010 she was on her way.
Mildez- what a lovely ending. We did decide to go through IVF Australia and the found the team there wonderful. We will be starting our first IUI in Jan 12 but I still have my fingers crossed for a miracle baby too. Thank you for responding, it always gives me hope when I hear stories like yours.
