clear-cloudy urine, suspected UTI

DD2 had a temp overnight and this morning, i made a DR appt because i was worried about her ears. when i changed her nappy she screamed when i wiped so i thought id get a urine sample (cant believe i managed to get the bag to stick), by the time i left for the dr it was really cloudy, it was clear.
Dr tested it and although the test said no infection its been sent to pathology JIC. so if its not a UTI is it normal for it to go so cloudy, dr said its not normal

Urine does not usually go cloudy unless it has been contaminated with something. Some creams may cause it to go cloudy. It is a good idea to send it off to the labs as the test sticks are not as accurate
