Any recommendations on who to go to for private sessions in Perth? Is it better to go to someone with psych qualifications, or someone who has just been certified in hypnobirth? There is a lady at st john of God apparently who is a psych, called Julie Watts, but not sure if she does the mongan method or not. Has anyone been to her? any experiences?
Google Gabrielle Targett and it will come up with her Labour of Love website. I've heard she is quite good. I didn't do her hypnobirthing class but I did read her book and borrowed a hypno cd from the library and copied on to my ipod.
We did Birthskills course with Natalie (she's a BB member, but not around much). She's great btw. The class is in Fremantle. PM me if you want details.
I second the suggestion of Gaby Targett - I didn't do her private hypno classes either but used her hypnobirthing CD's and her book is great, as well as her active birth workshop - as a doula she is awesome too :) Good luck!
