ivf after previous eptopics
Hi,
I unfortunatly i have experience and eptopic pregnancy in 2006 where i had my left tube removed as a result, and recently had another in 2009 just before i got married to my now husband.
It was so devestating as i am 25yrs old and to experience such a hard thing at such a young age was hard.
When the doctors told me about my second 1 i knew the outcome i knew i would need ivf to be able to concive a baby. i absolutly love children and me and my husband want to start a family young, and now with having to do ivf i want to start sooner rather than later.
We have an appointment in october for our consultation at rpa fertility clinic, i was wondering if anyone has had experience with them to please share with me, and if you have experienced and eptopic.
No one i know knows how i feel or what i have been through with the eptopics its hard to talk to people.
share your stories or experiences with me:)
IVF after previous ectopic
Hi Harmony,
I'm so sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancies. I, also, suffered an ectopic pregnancy in 2006 and had my left fallopian tube removed. Due to a few other female gynecological prob, I saw a fertility specialist at RPA, and he recommended IVF. It's not easy seeing so many pregnant women around esp when one is dealing with infertility. My husband and I have attended our nursing interview and now we have to scheduled our first treatment cycle. If you would like to know more info I can send you my email address. Wishing you all the best and praying that everything works ouft for you . God Bless
Rere
IVF after previous ectopics
Hello Harmony,
I agree with you - it's very hard to deal with losing a part of you and it does feel like you've lost womanhood. It's heartwrenching and frustrating at the same time - b/c you start to think "why me?" etc. I've had surgery to remove an uterine polyp and endometriosis (which I wasn't aware of until the dr performed surgery). During my 3 preg losses, I had to deal with watching fellow coworkers announce pregnancies, showers given at work, etc it was so hard to fight back the tears. Each day gets better and I try to remain positive. Don't give up hope Harmony :). I'll email you the details of the nursing interview later tonight after work. Take care.
