pregnant while using Mirena?

Ok, so I am sure I'm being paranoid here but last night I had a dream that I was pregnant. It sounds ridiculous but I had dreams like this when I fell pregnant with both of my daughters. I had the mirena implanted when DD2 was 8 weeks old, she's now 6 months. I feel fine, not feeling pregnant at all. I figure I'll try not to think about it unless something happens and then i'll see my GP.
But my point is, how common is it to fall pregnant while on the mirena? I believe it has a very high success rate when fitted correctly, but how likely is it that it would be fitted incorrectly?

There is the least chance possible with an IUD over any other birth control method... I had mine for nearly the whole 5 years... Have you had any other syptoms at all? What ones? Have you done a HPT? If you have any worries, check with your GP about it and see what they tell you. They can also do a check to make sure for you. :)

There is always a chance but when it comes to these situations you need to find a doctor who will listen to your concerns.

I was laughed at myself when I seen a doc because I thought I was with the implant in. I did end up pregnant on it and I blame myself for losing the baby by not getting the implant removed. I know that it is a bit different but still you need to get your doc to listen to your concerns no matter the outcomes. HTH.
