Need help from someone who knows all there is to know about cycles!!.

My DH and I have been TTC for 5 months. This will be our 4th baby. Our boys were all conceived very easily and we fell pregnant within a month or two. For some reason it is taking a bit longer this time...

My cycles have been spot on 27 days for the last 3 months that I have been keeping note. AF has usually been heavy with lots of clotting and no cramping (never had AF cramps).

This cycle....I got my LMP on the 5th July so I expected my next one on the 1st August. I was doing OPK's and didn't get anywhere near a darker line on an OPK until at least the 22nd July. So I expected I was going to ovulate late. We just kept BDing until about the 23rd I think.

I was getting lots of pregnancy symptoms and started cramping a few days before AF was due, but the 1st came and went. Every time I ran to the loo expecting AF I just got lots of yellow CM. Another good sign, I thought. However I got a BFN on a pregnancy test even though a line appeared later which I put down to an evap line.

Anyway late at night on the 4th, I started spotting and the cramps picked up a bit. Ive had light bleeding (nothing like my normal AF) and lastnight the cramping was so bad it was making me feel sick. Today, the bleeding has tapered off to next to nothing and no cramps either. So ive had AF for a day and a half and they usually last for at least 5-6 days.

SOOOO....if I did infact ovulate on the 23rd-24th, I would have been 12DPO when I started spotting, which I assume would be the normal range for implantation bleeding, even though AF was 4 days late.

Im just so confused!!!...I would looove the pain from the last few days to be implantation cramping and the bleeding to be from implantation, but I just dont know. I still have very sore BB's and waves of nausea. :doh: Its probably all in my head....I wish I had been temping to know what was happening. I know I have felt hot up until I started bleeding and then felt really cold.

*smacks forehead* LOL! Chant with me! DR DR DR DR DR DR DR DR DR DR DR. BT BT BT BT BT BT BT BT BT BT BT. (that's where I'm off to in a week and a half! I don't trust I'll get a BFP on a HPT as I sure didn't find out the first few weeks my other two times, especially the first one!)

If you O'd late, implantation apparently can happen anytime from 8-11 days afterwards anyways, so you may have had bleeding from that on those days. Be patient. One of the sites you've listed on FB shows that about 10-15% of HPT taken even at 21 days after ovulation still show negative (falsely!).

The only way I'd say you could know for sure is a BT. :)

Heck one of my pg's didn't show up until I was about 6 weeks past ovulation, had no clue about how far along i was since I thought I had AF when I was about 2 wks PO. It happened to be 2 days of implant/breakthru bleeding! YOU STILL HAVE HOPE FOR THIS MONTH THAT YOUR LITTLE GIRL COULD BE ON HER WAY!!!
