Could this be Mastitis?
Yesterday afternoon I started to feel like I was getting the flu, the whole achey body feeling, I had been at a friends place whos husband had the flu so I just assumed that I had caught it, however nothing more than the achey feeling. I noticed that my boobs were sore mainly the left one but they both felt bruised and tender, no lumps or redness or anything else. I just thought they were sore from me sleeping on my tummy the night before.
I fed DS this afternoon and after that feed they werent tender anymore but tonight, I still feel achey and crap, keep feeling flushed and a little clammy, no temp I just took it and it was 35.2. I also have a headache and I am exhausted, I am only getting up once a night to feed DS last feed is at 10pm then I go to bed then he feeds again at 2am then at 6am then we go back to sleep till about 8-9am so its not like I am not getting enough sleep.
What do you think?
I had similiar thing happen twice with my DD but I would have a hot shower feed her take some pain killers and go to bed and wake up ok.

Could be. Usually you'd have a lump somewhere, or a red spot. If it doesn't seem too bad maybe try the shower/express, and lots of feeding and plenty of rest and see if you're feeling better. Do get on to a doctor if it gets worse though. Or even call the ABA or healthline for advice.

Hun, I haven't had it, but if your worried bout please go to the hospital

It could be mastitis, you have some of the signs. Sleeping on your tummy can block ducts if you are full at night. If you are no better in the morning I think it would be a good idea to see a doctor - or better still, give the ABA helpline a call tonight and talk it over with a counsellor who can ask more questions etc - 1800 mum 2 mum (1800 686 2 686, drop the last 6 for VOIP).
