Today is the Day WE say bye bye TO boobie

Today is the day I will finish breastfeeding my son,

He is 22months 2 weeks and 5 days old

it has been a Great journey

From the very first suckles when He certainly wasn't attaching right ,

To being totally comfortable feeding on demand, and he was demanding :)

To learning to feed with teeth when he constantly bit me

To breastfeed overseas in a very hot climate

To surpass my expectations on when I would stop in the first place ( around 12 months old)

To carry on this long, even when he is clearly old enough to ask for boobies,
He loves it and In turn I have loved it :)

Today He said Bye Bye to Boobies before I took my medication I need to take,

I explained he is Big now and Boobies are for little babies (So he could understand)

he waved bye bye , gave a kiss to them through my top and he is happy

I am happy, that He is ok with it, for now :)
