theodan (23/8/10)

finally finished packing my hospital bag at 7:30 the nite before my ceasar went to bed at 8:30 slept well till midnite when was awake every hr checking the time finally managed to drift off bout 4am to have my alarm go off at 5 to get up we get up and get ready and leave home at 5:30 get to the hospital at 5:50 get settled into my room by 6am and get told im 2nd on the list so should be going round at bout 9am so have a long 3 hr wait aheard lol the dr comes round and takes bloods and has a chat bout everything then the midwife who will be in the ceasar with us comes round and has a chat then i get my gown and scrub and dp's clothes dropped off ready for us i have my shower at 7:30 then we both crash out for a while i wake at 9:10 and then 5 mins later they come to get me we are on our way we get to theatre and have to wait a little while till they have finished the other ceasar and cleaned up we have a million and one different ppl come and introduce themself's and explain what they will be doing i get a drip put in then at 9:45 i get taken in and the start getting everything ready for the spinal i get the spinal and get covered up and dp gets brought into me they start cutting just after 10am im told its going to take a little longer cutting cause of scar tissue i start getting really tired they said its cause of the local next minute i start feeling the pushing on the top of my belly and i know bubs will be here any sec next minute i hear screaming and the dr said dad come and see the sex of bubs and tell mum so dp got to tell me we have another beatiful boy they clean up a little then bring him for skin to skin contact i had a 10 min cuddle while they stuffed round then they took bubs to do his checks i get stapled up and taken to recoverey i have a 45-hr sleep in recoverey and then get brought back to my room where dp is topless having skin to skin cuddles with bubs
