Baby shower food ideas
So I'm doing my own baby shower this weekend. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I'm stuck!
Here's what I'm doing so far:
Chicken tikka balls
Jappati bread
Quiche
Vine leaves
Guacamole
Swiss cheese
Antipasto platter
Crackers
Fruit punch
Muffins
Black forest Cake
Fairy bread
Fruit platter
There are around 35 people coming so I need to make sure there is enough foody bits.
Any ideas would be wonderful. I'm trying to stay away from the cheerios, mini pies and sausage rolls menu, without having to spend 10,000 hours cooking.
Thanks heaps in advance.

Wow, sounds awesome! I was going to say guacamole, but you already have that :)
A friend of mine mixed chopped tomatoes, parsley, I think maybe lemon juice , salt & pepper & then put that mix on top of ricotta cheese on top of water crackers. Pretty quick & easy, looks good, tastes yum.

Wow thar sounds like such yummy food!!!
Couple of other sweet ideas... If you melt some milk chocolate and then stir through some natural yoghurt until it's a nice smooth consistency, it makes a yummy dip for the fruit that isn't overly sweet!
Also if you google cookies and cream cheesecake slice, it's on the Kraft website, that's a really yummy and easy to make slice. No baking - just in the fridge. It uses Philly cheese, cream and chocolate so all things you can have!
Enjoy your shower!!!

Savoury:
mini pizzas
spinach dip (mix knorr veg soup mix, spinach, sour cream, and cream cheese) with french bread
layered bean dip (layer refried beans, quacamole, salsa, sour cream, and top with shredded cheese and black olives)
salmon spread and crackers
Cheese ball and crackers
Dessert:
skor bar trifle (layer chocolate pudding, cool whip and skor bar pieces)
nutchos (super easy and yummy, you can google the recipe)
