At what age did your toddler start wearing undies?

Ds is nearly two

He knows what the toilet is for and we have been toilet triaining him for a little bit. He holds himself and tells us when he wants to go and says poo or wee.

I was going to start putting him undies at home so he doesn't want ruin them and will tell me , he already tell me with enough notice he just isn't fazed by using the potty.

Though the potty isn't very comfortable :( we may buy another soon

One of mine started wearing undies at 2 and a half, the other one at 1 and a half.

I bought around 10 pairs, I think, although it was really hard to find undies small enough to fit my younger one.

DS was 3 years. The day he told me he wanted to go to the toilet and has been ever since. DD isnt really close atm and shes 2 years.
At first for DS i bought about 15 pairs (3 packs of 5).. as we were going through a few a day. When he went up to the next size, was only about 10.

I bought DS 10 pairs of jocks when he was around 2. He wore them a few times but wasn't interested in TT, so we put them away for a little while. When he was around 2.5 we tried again and haven't looked back since!

We bought about 10, plus some 'shorties' and some 'training pants' about two months ago. She's wearing them now, when she wants to. She still prefers a nappy most times, I think thats pretty normal?

We bought undies (from memory) around 2 and 3 months (Summer) and we bought about 6 pairs. She wore them only one in awhile and then around 2 1/2 years we tried TT for first time. It was okay for about a week but we decided to stop due to illness. From then on though she did wear unides here and there when she asked for them. At 2 years and 10 months we started trying properly with TT and has pretty much been in the ever since except for the odd pull-up at night or long drives.

Charlotte went into knickers full time at 22months. Never used a potty here though, she was straight on the toilet - we got a padded toilet seat thingo from Target.

my boys i bout them from around 1 1/2 and used to let them wear them around the house by 2 they were wearing them out and about but did have lil accidents but by 2 1/2 they were leaving them clean all day

you can get trainingpants at big w - they are like flanelette padded undies..
DS went into them at about 2.5 - not with a lot of success so on and off.
went into 'proper' undies at about 2 yr 10 months - bought HEAPS of them (but i dont wash every day...) - he has about 15 pairs - wears them every day (nappies for sleeps) and these days just 1 pair a day (usually). he got majorly motivated to TT when he saw all the 'cool' undies - thomas, cars, spiderman etc

Yeah that's the plan , cool spiderman undies he has a car t shirt he's obsessed with and always wants to wear and a spiderman bag he carries all the time, so some cool undies are just what we need to get tt under way :) thanks ladies
