Hoping a Cairns local can advise what to expect the temps to be overnight - I know the humidity is also a factor - what would I likely need to dress my DS in overnight - summer PJs? Sheet/blanket? Just so I know what to pack.
We are travelling up from Adelaide and staying for 8 nights - Yay!

summer pj's for sure. We are in the air con at night and my 2 older girls are just in summer pj's. Maybe just a light blanket to put over him if he likes that.

I stayed there about 5 years ago and they were brand new at the time - they were fine, quite central to everything and comfortable. Honestly, if you are used to Adelaide whether, he is not going to need any kinds of warm clothes (I'm in T'ville but the weather here is similar). Make sure you bring your bathers ... you will need them :)
Like JM said, that's very central to everything. And yes, definitely bring your swimmers! The days are very hot and humid.
