Dear Joshua,

On this very day 2 years ago, you were born. It should have been a very happy day. But you were not supposed to be born just yet. So my eyes, which should have been smiling and filled with happy tears, were filled with tears of anguish and saddness. My heart heavy with the realisation that you were never going to look into my eyes, smile at me, hold my hand, and say I love you Mummy. You see, you came into this world silently, but boy or boy, do I remember those beautiful kicks even moments before you were born. You see, you were too little to survive the journey into this world. Instead, you sailed straight into my heart, into every pore of my body, into the very depth of my soul. You see, we'll never be separated. I am you and you are me.

I love you so much my darling son. I wish you were running around causing havoc and having the time of your life. I wish you were here to annoy your little brother Cameron. Instead, you are watching over him from above. You will always be his guardian angel.
